		<description>This is a topic that is emerging more and more and something my healthcare clients struggle with daily. Why does H/C have such a hard time retaining good nurses and recognizing the value they bring for the patient? Several members of my family are nurses and typical of nurses they always bring their work home with them; never complaining but usually empathizing with the plight of a struggling patient. In our current emphasis toward being patient-centric, hospitals are counting on nurses to carry the burden of this cultural shift.</description>
